In the peaceful comfort of your home. I’ll arrive with a selection of backdrops, props, and essentials to tailor the session to your style. Whether you prefer a styled, studio-like setup or the authentic beauty of your home as the backdrop, I’ll help you prepare your space to capture this tender chapter perfectly. 

*If your home isn’t the ideal setting, we can definitely arrange for a beautiful, welcoming studio space instead.

• Try to keep baby awake for about 1–1.5 hours before the session. A bath or sponge bath is a great way to help them stay alert, or some gentle playtime with lights or soft sounds.
• Have a pacifier handy — especially the round rubber one from the hospital if you have it. Even if your baby doesn’t usually take it, I may gently use it to help settle or position them during photos.
• Have extra bottles ready if you’re pumping or formula feeding. A quick sip can soothe a baby between shots without fully waking them. If you prefer not to use a bottle, no worries at all — whatever you’re comfortable with is perfect.

• I recommend turning up the heat a little before I arrive (around 78–80°F in the room where we’ll be shooting). A warm space helps keep baby sleepy and comfortable, especially when undressed or in lightweight outfits.
• You won’t need to provide any outfits for your baby — I’ll bring everything we’ll need.
• Please have on hand: diapers, wipes, a bottle (if needed), and a pacifier.

• For baby: Please dress them in a zip-down outfit or something that doesn’t need to go over their head.
• For family and sibling photos: Neutral, solid colors work beautifully. I’ll typically shoot close-ups to keep the focus on your baby, so simple tops, blouses, or dresses are perfect for moms, fitted dresses for girls, and jeans with no shirt (or a fitted neutral tee) for boys. Both light and dark neutrals work well — I especially love dark gray and black.
